January
Dingle Farmers Market – January – December, 2024
The local farmers market is an all year round market located in Holy Ground, Dingle. The market usually takes place every Friday and it is a great place to go for fresh produce. January is an ideal time to visit.
February
St Brigid’s Day – February 5th, 2024
The newly incorporated bank holiday weekend in early February coincides with St Brigid’s Day. An ideal time to experience all the magic of Dingle without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
Páidi Ó Sé Tournament – February TBC, 2024
The famed Páidi Ó Sé Tournnament is a Gaelic Football competition which takes place annually in February. Teams from Ireland and abroad take part in this weekend event. Whether you are participating or not, it is an exciting weekend for all.
March
St Patrick’s Day Festival – March 17th, 2024
The highlight of the annual St Patrick’s Day Festival is the St Patrick’s Day Parade which will see a wide range of local clubs and societies parading through the town. Not to be missed!
Animation Dingle – March 22-23rd, 2024
Animation Dingle as it’s name suggest focuses on the animation industry and showcases all that is good. The event takes place over 2 days and is brought to Dingle in association with Jam Media.
April
Dingle Distillery International Film Festival – April 19-21st, 2024
The 2024 Film Festival takes place in April. The festival has undergone changes in recent times and it’s aim is to showcase the best of the film industry. The festival is supported by The Dingle Distillery.
Ride Dingle – April 27th, 2024
An exciting event for any cycling enthusiasts. The routes takes in some breathtaking scenery along The Dingle Peninsula. It is one of the more popular routes in Ireland. The event fills up fast so best get booking early!

Féilte Na Bealtáine – TBC 2024
For many, this annual festival signals the start of the season! This cultural event focuses on the vibrant music and arts scene with a wide variety of shows and spectacles on offer. It has something for everyone.
June
Dingle Adventure Race – June 8th, 2024
The Dingle Adventure Race is a hugely popular event that involves the best of running, cycling, hiking & kayaking. The spectacular scenery on offer adds to the challenges presented by the course.
July
Dingle Agricultural Show – July TBC, 2024
The agricultural show is a mainstay in the town and usually takes place mid-summer. The show is full of variety and fun.
August
Dingle Races – August 9-11th, 2024
The famous Dingle Races take place each year in early August. The racecourse known as “Ballintaggart” brings together Ireland’s best “flapping” horses and it is as competitive as it is fun. This is a weekend not to be missed!
Dingle Regatta – TBC August, 2024
The Dingle Regatta along with the races are two of the more “original” events that take place in the town as they were enacted many moons ago. The regatta, along with The Dingle Races provide a fun family day out.

Dingle Marathon – September 7th, 2024
The Dingle Marthon’s is one of the premier marathons held in Ireland. It is famous for it’s spectacular scenery and the challening nature of the course. Early booking is advised as the event can reach capacity quite quickly.

Dingle Food Festival – October 4-6th, 2024
One of the most loved festivals in Ireland. The food festival brings together Ireland’s best food producers, writers & critics. The annual Irish Food Awards coincide with the event.
November
Dingle Literary Festival – November 15-17th, 2024
The Dingle Literary festival brings together some of the most interesting and prominent literary figures in Ireland. A fantastic weekend to be had.
Tommy Griffin Tournament – November TBC, 2024
The annual Tommy Griffin Tournament is a Gaelic Football tournament that brings a unique buzz and excitement to the town.
December
Other Voices – December TBC, 2024
Other Voices is a music and arts themed festival that usually takes place in early December each year. The festival features The Other Voices music trail along with intimate shows from St James Church on The Main Street.
New Years Festivities – 30th-1st December, 2024
The new years festivities are exciting and entertaining that bring a great buzz to the town. A great place to ring in the new year!
